I have Adobe Flash player v 11,0,1,152 installed. Do I need active X
with this?

I can't seem to find a link to download it -- is it required any longer?

Yeah, I think this is just a Windows Explorer thing.

Since updating Flash my Firefox works just fine like always, but my
Internet Explorer 9 can't play YouTube anymore.

That Explorer 9 really comes across like a piece of crap. I tried using
the 64 bit version and the regular version and neither will play Flash,
even though I have the lasted Flash installed.

you need the x64 IE version of flash

http://www.filehippo.com/software/internet/

btw...ie 9 is basically as fast/secure as any other browser on windows
now (well as secure as a browser on windows can be)...

if your ie9 is acting weird...you might have some nasties on the pc

I still prefer opera on a daily basis tho..then chrome...and then ff...I
only use ff to rip stuff from websites really...btw...the x64 version of
firefox is out now in beta
