MTS TV=Slower Downloads?

Wow! Switched to MTS TV last month and my download speed has decreased
by 2/3 (about 800 KB/s to 260). Is this what others have seen?

I'm on Shaw for both. However I've talked with a number of people in
your situation. It seems the bandwidth of MTS is quite a bit smaller
than Shaw. The same "pipe" which carries DSL carries the TV signal. One
person said if they had two different HD channels coming in at the same
time they started having trouble with their downloads. Three HD channels
were either impossible or completely killed the internet to their house.

I'd give MTS a call, you should be hitting 600-900

What does speedtest.net say?

I have MTS Ultimate TV as well as high speed internet.
I just ran a speedtest.net to the Calgary server and got this result:

The Calgary server hosted by Platinum Communications seems to be a piece of
s**t. I'm only getting a download speed 3.18 Mb/s.

Any other locations servers I've tried result in a 6.5 Mb/s download speed.
