Computer club meeting October 5'th (Tuesday next week)

The Muddy Waters Computer Society (a generic computer club) will be
holding its monthly meeting on October 5'th. The location is the
Assiniboia Christian Centre (St. Chads) at 3390 Portage Avenue in St.
James (Across Portage from Safeway). There is a parking lot at the back
of the building. The meeting starts at 7:00pm and lasts until 9:00pm.
The room we use is going to be somewhere in the basement.

So far no topic has been suggested. We have two back-up plans. The
first is a Q & A session. The second is a project I have been working on
for the Computer Lending Library. I am installing the current FreeBSD
(8.1) on a low end Dell GX260 to see if it works. If things work out I
can bring it in and let people play with it while I answer questions.

Looks like FreeBSD is taking too long to configure. We are more likely
than not going with the Q & A. First meeting in a while where didn't
have a plan going in.
