My computer was reformatted and I seem to have lost my old emails. They are
available on Virginmedia server and want to import to Outlook Express.

I use windows XP Pro.

well first of all u should switch to windows live mail 2011
or thunderbird...OE isn't a safe email client
second...this is the winnipeg for help group
now as for what to do...
install windows live mail 2011

then just config the pop3 server to the virginmedia pop3 server and it
should dl your mail

POP3
Incoming mail (POP3, IMAP or HTTP) server
pop3.virginmedia.com
Outgoing mail (SMTP) server
smtp.virginmedia.com
